Buncrana Town and nearby surrounding areas have so much to offer for travellers.

The local scenic beauty is most definitely a huge attraction. Sandy beaches, numerous viewpoints from rolling hills, cliffs and mountains.

An ideal way to enjoy the scenic beauty of this area is by taking the "Inishowen 100" route plan by the local tourist industry which shows off Inishowens best features throughout a 100km journey. The Wild Atlantic way follows much of the Inishowen 100 and is well signposted.

The nature of the local people is welcoming and warming. People here have a genuine and caring interest in other people and this is a most unique and pleasant experience for travellers from largely populated areas to sample.

A relaxing holiday in the countryside is what you will get yet there are cities with large populations as nearby as 20 minutes drive.

Derry and Letterkenny both have multiplex cinemas and bowling alleys; Halfway Go Karting Centre, Burnfoot is close by for visitors with a need for speed ;)

Being rural Donegal there are no railways, trams, etc. However there is a public bus service close to the property which links Fahan to the larger towns of the Inishowen Peninsula, Letterkenny and Derry.

*Please note that OIL and ELECTRICITY are metered internally within the property on a pay as you use basis. Both will be topped up upon arrival. 20 Hrs of oil per week is included with each rental.The oil meter takes €1 coins and the electricity is a prepay card which can be topped up as necessary*
